Mrs. Sneed had the cast on her wrist removed this past Thursday, and replaced with a wrist brace. She has considerable pain and weakness in the wrist.
has decided to return to work on Wednesday, so we will see how that
works out. I for one, wish she would just pack it in and retire, but
it takes two to make that hope unanimous and 50% of the electorate
disagrees. So we will see what happens.
I think I
have posted before about my dislike of palm trees, at least palm trees
here in the desert. Especially palms that are inappropriate for the
space they occupy, like this one.
This tree is directly across the street and it is already too big for the space assigned to it. Not to mention that it needs some TLC.
In beach locales, palms are a lovely sight to behold, swaying in the breeze. In you neighbors yard, no so much.
in Hooterville they remain a popular choice because people think that
they are hardy and low maintenance. The former is true, the latter not
Over the weekend, some guys came and cut down a palm across the street just to our south. I caught it in mid flop.
