"Don't tax you, don't tax me, tax that guy behind the tree!"  

That quote attributed to Russell Long, could be updated to include not cutting any level of government spending these days.

Even though most people agree that the United States is borrowing its way to ruin, no one wants to have anything they benefit from cut or any tax raised. 

Who would have guessed that?
