Well, Labor Day has come and gone, so I guess I will put away my white shoes for another season.

One of the Christian types in our store put this poster up on our break room bulletin board. I thought that the Supreme Court had ruled that the constitution provided for a separation of church and hardware store, but perhaps I misunderstand.

The fellow who posted the flier does this sort of thing from time to time, and on occasion has even left little pamphlets warning of bad stuff, unless we all shape up.

Things he leaves on our lunch table I feel free to toss in the trash.  I didn't feel quite right about taking down his poster, so I just hung a clipboard over it.  He never notices.

I don't think that the workplace is appropriate for proselytizing, I'm just trying to eat my lunch in peace.

Things in this blog represented to be fact, may or may not actually be true. The writer is frequently wrong, sometimes just full of it, but always judgmental and cranky

I can never figure out if it's true belief or an element of insecurity that makes some people so determined to get everyone else to join up. I love the clipboard response! :)

You don't want to think of Hell while you're eating your lunch;-)

amen brother merle!

i say, if people want to proselytize they should put on dark suits and ties or dresses and stick with going door to door with the rest of proselytizers

We had to ask a woman at work to quit signing her emails "have a blessed day," which on the surface seems innocuous (if not very business like), but this particular lady is a BIG proselytizer at work. She was making her less holy coworkers pretty uncomfortable.

There's a lady who walks up and down the train platform every morning, singing "Oh, how I love Jesus" and things of that nature. She doesn't have a very good voice.

You'd think that sooner or later some of these Einsteins would figure out that if what they were selling was so good they wouldn't have to be cramming it down our throats all the time.

Seems to me freedom of religion is just as much about freedom FROM religion ... or should be anyways.

They never seem to understand it's not their God I have a problem with ... it's them.

I think they're all scared of hell themselves, and want to chalk up points with the Man in the Sky by doing lots of preaching.

Here is another thing we thought the supreme court had already ruled on...
