At the hardware store we receive our window glass in flat boxes. The boxes have to be cut open and the plates of glass transferred to the holding bins. This warning is on the box and is a testament to what product liability has brought us and what happens when lawyers write the instructions.

No one can say they weren't warned.

I can tell you for sure that it would be more or less impossible to unpack glass while dressed to these specifications. I do wear the gloves though...mostly.

Some people have wondered if Some Guy Named Bob was being inconsiderate when he stole my parking spot the other day. He wasn't. The man is simply unaware of the world around him.

Tomorrow at golf I plan to mention it to him, but rest assured that his answer will be that he never saw me. I can't really pile on him though, because he gets plenty of that from the citizens in general.

A couple of months ago he parked so close to the car next to him at the golf course, that the driver of the adjacent car couldn't get in on the driver's side. He left Some Guy Named Bob the nastiest note you ever read. Some Guy Named Bob didn't understand why the guy was pissed.

Things in this blog represented to be fact, may or may not actually be true. The writer is frequently wrong, sometimes just full of it, but always judgmental and cranky

I don't even understand #3 - shoulder pad with sleeves? Aren't shoulder pads out of fashion now?

LOL....I'm suprised they forgot the bending at the knees when lifting instructions and what to do should an earthquate occur when you're tranporting the glass;-)

Dennis loved it when Mr. Gotrocks wore spats over his bare feet on The Flintstones. Funny stuff.

Don't you, sometimes, almost feel kinda sorry for people like Some Guy Named Bob? Almost?

We have become so ignorant and stupid. A hard hat should be warm before opening a package of glass? For heaven's sake.

I just bought a new electric tea kettle. My favorite instruction: "Do not use while drowsy or sleeping."

Wow.

Some people are just perpetually clueless. It's a good thing you understand SGNB and just accept him the way he is.
