It will be all downhill for my roses from here on.  For now, they are doing very nicely.

The lovely Mrs. Sneed gave her notice at work yesterday.  Most people give 2 weeks notice, she gave 5 months.  September 30th is her last day.

Mrs. Sneed is concerned that sometime around the first of the year we will be living in a box under a bridge somewhere.  I guess that is a natural fear.

As for me, my chief concern is that the bridge won't have Wifi.

Things in this blog represented to be fact, may or may not actually be true. The writer is frequently wrong, sometimes just full of it, but always judgmental and cranky

LOL - that would be my main concern too! I think we could benefit from some debt counseling but I'm afraid they'd tell us to give up internet & I'm just not ready to do that yet :)

Merle, just noticed a milestone on your blog. Check out the date on your visitor counter, 4/26/06. Five years to the day, not bad for a chimp.

Hi Merle,

Somehow, I doubt that the two of you will fall into such desperate straits---too much commonsense for that. Your roses are beautiful.

I applaud a man who grows roses in the desert.

A box! You'll be lucky to be able to afford a box.

Beautiful roses, Merle!

Congrats to the lovely Mrs. Sneed on her imminent retirement.

I'm glad Mrs. S. is joining the rest of us. She will learn not to worry I'm sure. Besides Ace will always take care of you! :)
