I'm taking a break today from my usual bitching and complaining to post a few pictures I took Sunday, while we were celebrating our older son's 37th birthday. How did a young guy like me get a son who is 37? Worse yet, his sister will be 40 in a few months.

Here is some pictorial proof of what I mean.  I'm a young guy.  Why does Mrs. Sneed continue to look about 20 years younger than me?

The knuckleheads, formerly known as the Sneedlets.

These guys are pushing seven years old.  Aiden was wearing his Colts shirt in support of Peyton Manning, his favorite quarterback.  Noah is a fan of all the Phoenix teams.  His shirt is for the Phoenix Coyotes hockey team.

This kid is an eating machine. Riley has a big future at the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest in a year or two.

Part of our ritual is to take a walk after we eat.  Here we are dodging the rain.

Things in this blog represented to be fact, may or may not actually be true. The writer is frequently wrong, sometimes just full of it, but always judgmental and cranky

Beautiful family! And wonderful grandparents! Age is just a number after all. Glad you all had fun.

You guys all look great! It looks like you enjoy your grandkids - & I'll bet they think having Merle Wayne Sneed as a grandfather is pretty darn cool too!

Look at you in the rain with the kids--you're like Mary Poppins, Mr. Sneed! Indeed!

How can you have kids that old and be my age?! You must have gotten started a lot sooner than we did.

At least you were dealing only with rain and not 2 feet of snow! Very cute grandchildren to be sure.

Beautiful kids, Merle, and a very lovely Mrs. Sneed. You're a lucky man and very young, indeed.

I always love seeing pics of the Sneed family.

Dreamed I met you last night. I was so excited. I kept hugging you and saying "Merle, Merle." You replied by asking me to use your "real" name. Mrs. Sneed was there, too, laughing at my enthusiasm. Nice dream.
