The columns for the gate are in, as you can see.

Notice anything wrong with this picture? What kind of a knucklehead doesn't center the box in the middle of the column? I'm sure there will be a fine excuse offered when I talk to the boss tomorrow. Despite the quality of the excuse, the box has to move.

People have wondered why we need an enclosed courtyard? It is not designed to keep people or animals out. We are trying to create a more private space, one with less upkeep than a yard.

Things in this blog represented to be fact, may or may not actually be true. The writer is frequently wrong, sometimes just full of it, but always judgmental and cranky

Privacy is a very good reason.

Every time our cleaning people come, all the pictures are left at strange angles. I think some people just don't notice this stuff, but it drives others (like me) nuts!

I hope you get the box straightened up.

Can't wait to hear that excuse. I love the idea of a courtyard.

Can't wait to see the end-product, Merle.

Just a thought... with the mail box off-center there is room to have a lovely painting applied. A minature mural.

But I understand about needing the mail box centered. It will drive you crazy, otherwise.

the reason for the courtyard makes perfect sense!

but the uncentered box doesn't

Will there be a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony? (And is Riley big enough to hold scissors yet? Supervised, of course.)

:)
