Today was golf day with the Seafood King, Some Guy Named Bob and The Farmer. We had a 5th today because someone's folks went out of town and left said someone with me. I was faced with the dilemma of staying home or taking him along.
I was worried that he might get bored, but he didn't. In fact, he was disappointed when we finished and had to leave.
Noah brought his 7-iron and Sponge Bob Square Pants golf balls and played along. According to him, he beat me 11 to 9, in some strange scoring system. He was disappointed to find out that we didn't have trophies for the "winner".
Things in this blog represented to be fact, may or may not actually be true. The writer is frequently wrong, sometimes just full of it, but always judgmental and cranky

I was about that size when my father first took me out to play golf. Soon thereafter I got my first clubs -- right-handed even though I was left-handed because that's all they had in the pro shop -- $41 for the set including a bag. They were cute.
And so is he. How come he gets to ride while you walk with your clubs?
Looks like a much better driver than Some Bob was on the course today.
Cute kid.
let me see, you pretend to not understand simple scoring system then gyp the kid out of his trophy. i think he will play with you again though, if he got a snack.
What does the Farmer grow?
Cute Noah eyes.
Ha! Apparently the golfing concept of lower-score-wins is a tough one for kids to grasp. :)
Bored? Never! Kids just love to be with their grandparents. I'm counting on that anyway.
I love his new scoring system. Cute!
