"Gather ye rose-buds while you may~ old time is still a-flyin'~ and this same flower that smiles today, tomorrow will be dyin'...." Robert Herrick. Herrick must have known about the Arizona summers, but for now the roses love spring. Speaking of spring, this spring is what opens our garage door. The gap isn't supposed to be there. The spring broke in half. I went to open the door, only to discover it wouldn't open. It's always something. A garage door spring is one of the things around the house that can kill or maim you in an instant. A broken spring is a matter for a professional, so first thing tomorrow, I'll have to call one. I hate to pay someone else to fix things, but I hate being maimed trying to do it myself even more. Things in this blog represented to be fact, may or may not actually be true. The writer is frequently wrong, sometimes just full of it, but always judgmental and cranky

I replaced one of those in the old days. I unhooked it from the chain, replaced it, and hooked it back up. I don't remember how I detensioned/retensioned it.

Beautiful roses!!!!!

I am kind of fearful of the workings of my automatic garage door-- so I would definitely get an expert in.

Gorgeous flowers! Sorry to see your garage door spring is broken...

You were very handsome in high school, and the remarks about the obits had me laughing!

I hope all the Sneeds have a good week!
