First of all, for those who commented that they had never heard of the movie Igor, let me say that obviously you have no five-year-olds around. Among the preschool crowd, Igor is all that. Some among you and you know who your are, still doubt that I live in an actual inhabited area. Please excuse the poor quality of my photos, but I want to enter them into evidence. It was dark and I didn't want to take flash photos of people trying to eat. Oh, let's just say it, I didn't want to get pummeled. This is a place called Beyond Bread that we go to often because it is about two minutes from our house. Please note the actual people in the restaurant. This guy s helping himself to the free bread that is available for one and all. The restaurant slices up the excess bread and the ends of loaves and puts it out for the customers to enjoy. Some enjoy it so much that others, Mrs, Sneed for example, won't touch the stuff. I rather enjoy all breads, but my favorite is free bread. This fellow is reading the menu and trying to decide what he will eat, from the many fine choices. Things in this blog represented to be fact, may or may not actually be true. The writer is frequently wrong, sometimes just full of it, but always judgmental and cranky

1. Some of them, or most of them look like wax people.

2. Who gives free bread in times like these?

Some of them could be props. I see a lot of backs.

Wow, fresh bread.

Good 4 U!

And I will now admit I have seen a few good people in your town.

Thanks for that.

Good thing you didn't show faces, as you might have had to get a release form signed by one and all. ; )

It looks like a chain restaurant we have called Atlanta Bread. Do they have those out west?

My favorite flavor is free.

Igor looks good! I'd go just to hear Steve Buscemi.

As for the free bread, it reminds me of free mints in restaurants and free peanuts in bars--everybody touching...

We urban folks are used to masses of humans everywhere. Hooterville looks very well populated, but not crowded.

Nice!

Mmmmm....free bread!

I have heard of Igor, believe it or not. I saw a preview recently...it must have been when I went to see Wall-E.

I might have to take my little shadow to see that film...

if things keep going the way they are going we are going to see more and more bread lines around and about. even in hooterville!

beyond bread sounds like a nice place. I love places that provide samples and sometimes with a beverage and some samples I can say I've done lunch!

how do you and the kids like that year round school schedule? I've long been intrigued by the concept.

In response to Ched's "everybody touching..." remark: I read a about a study that was conducted on the cleanliness of those free mints, which reported that many tested positive for fecal matter.

Can't say I'd want to spread my free bread with that.

I'm with Mrs. Sneed. No free bread for me.
