Technological Marvels

I would like to introduce you to our granddaughter, who will be born in November. Until yesterday we didn't know that she was a she. Isn't this a breathtaking picture?

Life is indeed precious and what a great photo. ; )

We didn't do this before my son was born, but I did ask the Dr at Kaiser, if I could bring a tape recorder while listening to the heartbeat. He mentioned no one ever asked before. He was older and he also became much more interested after that.

I recorded all sounds he made as an infant, when music was playing etc.

Sadly, only his mom has the tape. I shed a tear just thinking about it.

You might think of adding those to your list.

To hear how fast their heart beats and the swishing....Oh man, make sure you take a listen anyway, or they do.....

Dennis is overwhelmed. Dennis recently became a dad, so he knows what miracles kittens are.

Congratulations, Merle. Technology is indeed amazing -- when it isn't scary.
