One of the funniest things that I ever heard Carlin say was in speculating on why the murdering scum, O.J. Simpson, killed his wife and Ron Goldman. According to George, "Maybe they had it coming."
That quote is outrageous, insensitive and ridiculous. It is trademark Carlin.

Oh that quote on religion is really something.
I always liked his "stuff" routine.
He was hilarious, in a way that always made you gasp!
His ideas on religion were fabulous! He really cut through all the b.s.
what a loss--he should have been around for another 20 years or so.

Carlin's dead???? My gosh! I have to come here to keep up with the o-bits. I'd like to follow the crowd and say I liked him, but I'm too busy preparing a celebration of his passing. I knew the world suddenly felt like a better place. I just couldn't put my finger on it. ;)
I can't believe I still feel sad about George. I know he was 71, but I really felt he had another decade worth of wisdom for us. I've taken it hard er than I thought I would. He was our Lenny Bruce I guess.
George's skin looks very soft in that photo. I bet he used moisturizer and sunblock.
