Saturday

I've been having some blog trouble here. My laptop was having issues. I took the computer to the fine folks at Circuit City and the computer expert there monkeyed with it and pronounced the motherboard dead or something. He said it needed to go to their repair facility and would be out of commission for about 21 days. Since I am the impatient sort and totally dependent upon my laptop, I did what any sensible guy would do, I bought a new one. I'm thinking that the quality of my posts should go way up. In the meantime, my old laptop is on its way to God-knows-where to be fixed. Luckily I have the new hardware gig to finance the new computer. In only six short weeks I will have earned enough to pay for it. The guys at Circuit City copied my old hard drive to the new one so that I didn't lose my info. Of course I have to find it now, which is a pain. Plus I didn't realize how many passwords I had stored on the old machine so I'm busy trying to remember what they all were. Things in this blog represented to be fact, may or may not actually be true. The writer is frequently wrong, sometimes just full of it, but always judgmental and cranky

This cracked me up:

"Luckily I have the new hardware gig to finance the new computer. In only six short weeks I will have earned enough to pay for it."

I have never known a man who would hesitate to buy
-- there's just something about electronics... that makes them necessities.

I give the same password to every site I use that doesn't involve money.

You surprise me, Merle, with your computer purchase. What will you do when the other one comes back and you have two?!
