This will be an odd week for me time-wise. It seems that I have committed myself to do something everyday.
Monday: Work until six, bowl until nine.
Tuesday: Garden Center until noon.
Wednesday: Work until six, bowl until nine.
Thursday: Garden Center until noon, golf until four.
Friday: Work until four.
Saturday: Work until four.
That's a lot of activity for a semi-retired guy.
Now on to our feature presentation.
Just in case you wondered what my street looks like.
My recent posts about the flora of my neighborhood and the history of Ft. Lowell have drawn complaints from some quarters. It seems that some people find them boring or as one guy that I love said, "a snoozefest". Well, in case you haven't noticed, I'm a boring guy.
Wouldn't it be an untenable world if we were all interested in the same things? Can you imagine a world where we all drove Chevy Suburbans and painted messages of support for our kid's soccer team on the windows? What if we were all Baptists, or every guy was named Jim?
Three guys meet in a mall.
Jim: Hey, Jim! Good to see you!
Jim: You too, its been a while. Have you met my buddy Jim? (He motions to the third guy).
Jim: Nice to meet you.
Jim: You too. How do you know Jim?
Jim: I went to school with his brother Jim and his other brother Jim.
You get the point. I will try my best to be more interesting, but I can't promise much. Just kidding Earl.
