The Rt Rev Graham Dow, Bishop of Carlisle, seen at the annual Parade of Buffoons
It turns out that Al Gore and others who believe that global climate change has human origins are right and at the same time they are wrong. They are right that humans are responsible for the wildly fluctuating weather, but wrong that it is entirely the result burning fossil fuels. Just ask the The Rt Rev Graham Dow, Bishop of Carlisle, England, if you don't believe me.
According to the Rt. Rev, the torrential downpours devastating parts of England are the result of, "...God's judgment on the immorality and greed of modern society...".
The good Rev also says, "We are in serious moral trouble because every type of lifestyle is now regarded as legitimate." For American readers, I will translate into the Falwell dialect of American English. "It's yer homasexual lifestyle, right there."
So what I'm I to take from this personally? After all, I only care about the news to the extent it affects me. Well, since it is bone-dry here in the desert, I am going to conclude that God is as pleased as punch with yours truly. What a relief.
In news that is true, we are having a big bash at daughter Sneed's house today to celebrate someone's birthday, someone's retirement and a belated Father's Day. Any Sneed who is anybody, will be in attendance, along with friends, companions and assorted well-wishers. It promises to be an afternoon to remember. Details will follow.
Have a great Sunday.
Things in this blog represented to be fact, may or may not actually be true. The writer is frequently wrong, sometimes just full of it, but always judgmental and cranky
