Our couch and love seat are going on a three-week vacation to the upholsterer tomorrow.  They have served us well, but the fabric is so 1990s.  Or at least I'm told.

Yesterday we ventured across town to the upholstery shop to make the final arrangements.  Afterward, we drove down to the city of South Hooterville and had lunch at an old favorite restaurant, Mi Nidito.  The main industry of South Hooterville is Mexican restaurants.

Mi Nidito's most famous moment was when President Clinton stopped in for lunch.  They have a dish on the menu called the El Presidente as well as the Presidential booth.

Yesterday, we sat opposite a guy who ordered the three beef taco platter, followed by a Carne Seca chimichanga, enchilada style and he topped off his lunch with three green chile enchiladas.   Anyone of the three makes more than a meal.  Perhaps he was recently freed from prison and was catching up.

Things in this blog represented to be fact, may or may not actually be true. The writer is frequently wrong, sometimes just full of it, but always judgmental and cranky

I hope your new upholstery is classic rather than so 2010's.

I don't follow fashion trends in couches.
